Lewis Hamilton is all set for a farewell season with Mercedes before Ferrari move.
Lewis Hamilton insists he will ‘always be a Mercedes fan’ despite ditching them for a $430 million Ferrari deal
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton on recently announced his move from Mercedes to Ferrari for the 2025 season. He has always wanted to drive for Ferrari since he was a child and didn’t have to think much when he was offered the seat, a childhood dream come true. However, Hamilton has asserted that he will always be a fan of Mercedes as he has won six championships.
Hamilton didn’t have much time to decide whether to stay with Mercedes or go to Ferrari the following year. Late last month, the Mercedes driver informed his teammates that he would be joining Ferrari at the end of the season.
The Englishman pointed out that he would always be grateful for everything to Mercedes and would be one of the team’s biggest supporters. He claimed that he has been a big supporter of his first team McLaren since leaving them for Mercedes and the latter will get the same place in his heart once he joins Ferrari.
The thing is, I will always be a Mercedes fan, and we’ll always have this incredible history together. Even now, all these years after I’ve left McLaren, I always check where they are and I’m generally always supporting them. And that will always be the case for me here also.
Hamilton said, as reported by RACEFANS.
Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes gives a unique on Red Bull’s new design Ideology
The reason the new Red Bull has drawn attention is that it shares many similarities with Mercedes’s now-abandoned concept for its 2022 and 2023 cars, particularly with its side-pods and “The Great Wall” engine cover. Though the RB20 appears to have the same exterior design as the W13/W14 series, Wolff claims that its true internal workings are concealed.

According to Wolff, Red Bull decided to implement the wind tunnel’s recommendation rather than just create a concept that was already proven to be effective. In addition to the zero sidepod. Toto then said naturally had this bodywork engine cover that we dubbed “The Great Wall” and that they have since adopted.
The 2024 season will witness the battle between Hamilton who is in his farewell season in a completely re-designed car and Max Verstappen in a Mercedes W14-inspired Red Bull that is expected to easily dominate its rivals. It would be a battle the fans eagerly waited to see.
