Following their viral altercation, the mayor of Margate City offers to give Kylie and Jason Kelce supper

Margate City, N.J. Mayor Michael Collins is trying to make amends for the woman who confronted Kylie and Jason Kelce outside of a Jersey Shore town restaurant this week.

Collins made his first public comments on the controversy, which involved an unidentified woman aggressively approaching the Kelces outside of Steve & Cookies by the Sea for a photo while the couple was out on a date before she then went ballistic after Kylie politely declined.

A short eight-second clip circulated on social media on Tuesday posted by the “Word to the Wise” podcast and showed a Saturday incident with Kylie Kelce getting into an argument with the woman, who threatened that the Kelces would “never be allowed in this town again.”
“I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself,” Kylie appeared to say before the video cut off.

New details about the Saturday encounter emerged from PhillyChitChat that the woman approached the Kelces while in their car and attempted to get their attention by banging on the truck.

The incident, however, was not enough to ruin the ex-Eagles center and his wife’s night.

“People told me the couple had a lovely evening, laughing and enjoying their meals,” PhillyChitChat wrote. “A few people walked by their table to say hi, the only one who stopped by was Michael Rubin, the Fanatics CEO, but I haven’t had a double confirmation on him being there.”

Neither Jason nor Kylie Kelce have publicly addressed the incident, but it could be fodder for the former NFL star during the next episode of the “New Heights Podcast” that he hosts with his brother Travis.
