Last year, Red Bull won a staggering 21 races out of the 22 grand Prix that were held. Moreover, out of those 21 wins, 19 came at the hands of Max Verstappen. Recently in an interview, Helmut Marko revealed the goals set for the Dutchman for the upcoming season.
The reigning champion is still in his 20s, and is regarded as one of the best drivers to have ever driven a F1 car in the history of the sport. Last season, the Dutchman had surpassed Sebastian Vettel’s humongous toll of 53 wins and is on the path to taking the throne if things stay the same.
Following this abomination, the Red Bull consultant has shared the goal for the reigning champion to achieve in 2024.
Our goal is [Max Verstappen’s] fourth world title, that’s clear. The whole picture seems to be right. Max has become even better, as far as that is still possible.

The Austrian has claimed that the team’s and Verstappen’s goal is to win the fourth title in a row. According to the 80-year-old, the 26-year-old has become even better attributing to his experience and the hunger he has in him to win more. On the contrary, fans want a battle for the title but it seems impossible against the dominating Dutch lion.
Who is the closest competitor to Red Bull according to Helmut Marko?
The Austrian manufacturer had enjoyed a comfortable lead last year and could have won the race from any grid position. However, the tables have turned now and Marko belives that the things won’t be as smooth sailing as last year.

Ferrari has moved closer, in qualifying they are maybe even on par, that is also [Charles]Leclerc’s strength, he is perhaps the best qualifying driver.

The Austrian has predicted Ferrari to be the closest to Red Bull. Moreover, Marko is weary of how his team would perform in terms of single-lap pace. Subsequently, allowing the prancing horses to take the top grid positions could be quite detrimental in tracks that are difficult to overtake.
However, the teams now ramp up their preparation as the race weekend is just around the corner. Red Bull is still the title favourite, but Ferrari is suspected to be closely behind and could spoil the party at Milton Keynes if anything goes wrong in their camp.
