Jason Kelce‘s former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen hilariously recalled his role in the center’s first date with now wife Kylie Kelce.
Kelce and Kylie, who tied the knot in 2018, infamously met on the dating app, Tinder, back in 2015, however, the NFL star didn’t make the best first impression.
The former Super Bowl winner has previously admitted that he fell asleep at the bar and had to be carried home by Allen.
Former Eagles nose tackle Allen opened up on the experience on Kelce’s New Heights podcast on Wednesday, likening it to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
‘I’ve said this before and I will say it again,’ Allen began when asked for his version of events. ‘It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. That was harder than climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.’

Allen would know too, having climbed the peak with Kelce, and other Eagles teammates Haloti Ngata and Chris Long, who also made an appearance on this week’s episode, for charity back in 2019.
‘The thing people don’t know is that Kylie and Jason met on tinder so for like a week or two before you guys meet they were like chit chatting online, Kelce was talking about this girl,’ Allen added.
‘He was saying, “I really like this girl, I’ve got to make a good first impression, what should I say to her.” We were at the holiday party in Philly, Kelce was like I’m gonna meet up with this girl. The night just went a little bit sideways, Kelce fell asleep on the bar snoozing.’
Kelce chimed in, saying: ‘It’s not actually that uncommon. I think my brain got to a point where it prevented me from drinking alcohol my shutting down. It should probably have happened earlier.’
Allen then claimed that Kelce attempted to put up a fight as he carried him home from the bar.
‘It was like cobblestone streets, you were fighting me,’ he said. ‘And I’m like straining, I dropped you!’

‘I know I was sleeping but I remember it,’ Kelce added. ‘I remember fighting you and laughing my a** off. Were you shocked when Kylie agreed to go on a second date with me?’
‘I was slightly surprised,’ Allen admitted. ‘But you’re a great guy.’
Kelce recently poked fun at how he and Kylie met, wearing a sweatshirt with the Tinder logo on it.
An incredulous Kylie posted a smiling Jason on her Instagram story with the captions ‘Are you kidding me with this?’ and ‘Never forget where you came from….’
