Lewis Hamilton arrives in Mozambique in a helicopter as he enjoys his summer break in style

Apart from being a seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton is also considered a fashion icon in the Formula 1 world. One of the top-paid drivers on the current grid, the Briton is currently enjoying his summer break in style in Mozambique.

Despite a slow start to the 2024 season, Lewis Hamilton maintained his composure through the first few races. With Mercedes-AMG bringing in crucial upgrades earlier than expected, both Hamilton and his teammate George Russell have started to extract more performance from the W15 car.

In the last five races alone, the 38-year-old racing legend has managed to grab two wins (British and Belgian GPs) and two podium finishes (third place in Hungary and Spain). These gains have likely provided some relief to Hamilton going into the mid-season summer break.

Although Hamilton prefers having a low profile during his personal time, he made a grand entrance recently in Mozambique. The #44 driver arrived in style in a helicopter on Bazaruto Island to enjoy his summer break. A picture of him exiting the aircraft was shared by a Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes fan page on X.

Here’s a look at the aforementioned post, captioned:

As per Forbes World’s Highest-Paid Athletes List, Lewis Hamilton currently stands in the 21st place. He has an estimated yearly income of $69 million, of which $57 million comes from his salary and $12 million comes from endorsements. This is set to grow to $107 million per year once he joins Ferrari in 2025. His net worth in 2024 is around $300 million.

For reference, his car collection alone is estimated to be at least $40 million with the likes of a 1995 McLaren F1, a Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, a McLaren P1, a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, a Mercedes-AMG SLS Black, and a Mercedes-AMG One all part of his collection.

“For me, it’s an incredible opportunity,” Charles Leclerc’s data reveals no weakness for Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari in 2025. Now, Charles Leclerc has shared some interesting details about his future F1 teammate.

During an interview with BBC, the young Monegasque driver praised Hamilton.

“I have always said you learn from every single team-mate you have over your career. When I look at the way he drives – because we always look at each other and data – you don’t really see any weaknesses. And that’s where Lewis is incredible. He’s only got strengths,” Leclerc commented.

“For me, it’s an incredible opportunity. First, to learn from the most successful driver ever. And to prove myself as well against Lewis, who is a benchmark for everybody.”

As for Hamilton, he will likely be looking to win his eighth driver’s title with the iconic Italian team.
