Uпveiliпg the Mystery: The Uпtold Story of Kylie Kelce, The Womaп Behiпd NFL Star Jasoп Kelce

In the event that you’re one of the poor souls who suddenly found themselves invested in football thanks to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, dw we’re right there with ya!

And after some extensive Google searches like “What Is a Tight End Football” and “Taylor Swift Brittany Mahomes Handshake Tutorial,

” we’re here to inform you that we’re officially moving onto much more romantic pastures via a full-on deep dive on all things Kylie Kelce, aka Jason Kelce’s wife…double aka Travis Kelce’s sister-in-law.

Yep, turns out Kylie and Jason have been living a literal fairytale life all these years complete with a hilarious first date story, three adorable kids, and a gorgeous wedding that will have you all of a sudden invested in how to seamlessly incorporate your dog into your own nuptials (guilty!).

So with all that, let’s get into everything we know about Kylie Kelce, starting with the fact that…

She’s from Philadelphia
Despite her Super Bowl-champ husband being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, playing all of his 12 professional seasons with the team, *and* being affectionally known as the “King of Philly,” Kylie is actually the only one in this duo who can claim to hail from Eagles country.

“She’s from the area. Both of her parents are here, my parents came in, and she has a lot of friends, family membe

rs. She’s not alone by any stretch of the imagination,” Jason even told reporters the day after his first child’s birth in October 2019.

Born in 1992, Kylie grew up in Narberth, a Main Line suburb of Philadelphia, and even attended Lower Marion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, where she played field hockey—an interest that she continued to pursue in college at Cabrini University in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

And because he truly seems to be the best ever, Jason was right there next to Kylie on the day of her graduation in 2017 🥺❤️:

She met Jason on Tinder
In the Amazon Prime Video doc Kelce, Kylie opens up about meeting her now-husband and talks about her and Jason’s ~origin story~, beginning with the fact that she fully had no idea that the person she’d matched with was an athlete.

“None of his pictures showed Eagles football,” she recalled before adding that, for their first date, she met the pro athlete and his friends at a bar. However, the date didn’t end up lasting that long because…

“Forty-five minutes later, he fell asleep at the bar, like just, out, like asleep, asleep,” the mother-of-three revealed. “The next day, he called and was like, can we try that again?” she then quipped before assuring that Jason “did much better” impressing her the next time they went out. Love! To! See! It!!!!

And clearly, things only continued to go up from there since the two wound up making their relationship Instagram official on November 11, 2015, when Kylie posted a black-and-white pic of herself and Jason with the sweet caption, “Thank goodness you swiped right too.”

P.S. In the event that you’re also totally ugly crying right now, here’s a little something to make you laugh. Apparently, Kylie recently dug up an old screenshot of Jason’s Tinder profile, which revealed his truly laugh-out-loud-worthy bio that read, ahem: “I’m very in touch with my emotional side and love to cuddle. Not interested in a hookup, only interested in intimate conversations and women who want babies…”

Jason’s proposal was all types of adorbs
On New Heights—the podcast Jason and his brother Travis Kelce

co-host that you’ve probs definitely heard of by now—, the Philadelphia Eagles star and his wife recounted the story of Jason’s proposal and put us all in our feels.

Essentially, the couple had been in their getaway car (srry, had to!) leaving Kylie’s father’s house when Jason decided that he had to find a way to go back and ask him for permission to marry his now-wife. The excuse? He told Kylie that he had to go to the bathroom.

“When he got back in the truck, he said, ‘This isn’t the most romantic way to do this,’ and I immediately started crying because I knew what was happening only because he referenced being romantic,” Kylie gushed when calling back the details of the engagement.

The two then got married at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia on April 14, 2018, and according to reports from People, the longtime couple shared the special day with 170 of their friends and family, including their Irish Wolfhound Winnie, and it ended up with a honeymoon in France.

Kylie has since reflected on her and Jason’s wedding day on the duo’s one-year wedding anniversary, and gushed, “One year ago today we stood in front of our closest friends and family and vowed our love and commitment to each other. I am so beyond grateful that I get to share my life with this man.”

They share three children together
Yep, the couple has three daughters all under the age of 5: Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte Ray, 2, and Bennett Llewellyn, who was born on February 23, 2023, just two weeks after the Super Bowl.

In May 2023, Jason spoke with People about his feelings surrounding being a girl dad and described it as the “biggest highlight” of his life.

“Before I had children, I told myself if I ever have a daughter, I’m just going to treat them exactly the same as a son. I don’t think that you should treat kids necessarily different,” he said. “And then when I had a daughter, I was like, ‘I’m not going to spoil her, I’m going to raise her tough. She’s going to be hard.’ And the moment she came out, I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work.’” I’m not crying, you are!

Recently, the two celebrated a large bb milestone when their youngest, Bennett, turned one.

“Bennie turned 1 on Friday. 🥹💕,” wrote Kylie on February 23, 2024 via Instagram. “She is a content, curious, climber that is now getting involved in everything her older sisters are doing.” “Wish us luck . . . she’s getting faster everyday,” she hilariously added.

Fans and friends alike loved the post, including Taylor’s BFF Keleigh Sperey, who commented, “Benny at spring training this year.”

She’s beyond committed to supporting Jason
As in, Kylie fully cheered her man on in the stands during his appearance at the 2023 Super Bowl while simultaneously being fully prepared in case she went into labor during the game.

Yep, turns out Kyle brought not one, but two of her OBs to the stadium in case she went into labor at the Super Bowl (yah, ya know, the one where Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs lol). However, she didn’t end up giving birth that day. “It was an epic game, an epic Super Bowl, an epic one for our family. We did miss out on one thing that could have made it more epic though. That baby is still inside Kylie’s belly,” Jason said during the February 15 episode of New Heights.

“I was actually rooting for Kylie to go into labor and have the baby at the stadium. I feel like that’s very selfish of me, but that’s what I wanted to happen. I don’t know why I wanted that to happen,” he added.

Another reason Kylie legit deserves the Most Committed Wife Award? On February 10, 2023, just prior to the Super Bowl, she spoke with People about “being part of the Kelce family” while her husband and brother-in-law prepared to play against each other at the sporting event and joked, “I, of course, am like, ‘Sorry Travis, we’re not family this week.” “But, you know, next week, it’ll be all love again,” she hilariously added. Honestly? Iconic!
